I'm glad she scheduled me for several follow-up appointments, and I'm glad she prescribed a medicine to try, but I didn't feel very listened to. I thought her bedside manner was a bit cold/unsympathetic.

I wrote a bit about Karen Kelley in a previous screen. She talked over me, wouldn't let me talk, we talked about nothing together, she insisted I go to a therapist, really insisted and wouldn't listen to why I can't.

I felt she spent more time training someone on the computer than talking with me. Only asked if I had reflux and any questions. Never discussed my bp being up or my weight or surgery in general. Very disappointed.

It was the first time meeting her and she did not introduce herself or her credentials or engage in a friendly manner. She seemed rather disinterested but was thorough and did her job professionally.

Karen seemed very distracted and not focused on anything I was saying. I don't know if she had something else going on but it was if she didn't want to be there .unlike her and I had several questions but felt she wasn't in the state of mind or mood to answer them so I didn't ask.

This office is amazing. They go above and beyond to always make sure you have what you need. Karen always discusses my entire weight loss plan and gives me options on what can be done differently and always reminds me to follow through with my diet, vitamins and medications, water intake, and exercise.

I have been working with Karen for about a year and half. I'm having an unexplained weight gain that I hope is related to hormones and decrease change in activity. Karen working with me to get back on plan but I seem more concerned. I will see her again in 2 months to see if any of the changes are helping or if there is a bigger health issue happening.
